DATABANK
Ohio DATABANK collects timely hospital and utilization data from hospitals income and balance sheets providing hospitals a quick high level overview of the hospitals' financial health, as well as the ability to look at key financial indicators just two months out. Hospitals also have access to peer group aggregate reports, comparing them to similarly situalted hospitals. Regional and state-level hospital associations use this data as a tool for advocating on behalf of their member hospitals. Other states also use the DATABANK program. Over 700 hospitals nationally submit data to DATABANK providing Ohio hospitals the ability to compare data nationally and regionally.
