East Ohio Regional Hospital, located in Martins Ferry Ohio, was founded in 1906. EORH is licensed for 250 beds, and utilizes a medical staff of more than 180 physicians, dentists and podiatrists. EORH joined with Ohio Valley Medical Center to form OVHS&E, an integrated health care delivery system comprising of the two hospitals, River Health Enterprises and Family Service-Upper Ohio Valley.

Special Services include an array of primary and tertiary care services, including 24-hour EMSTAR emergency/trauma care, rehabilitation services, intensive care, general surgery, long-term and skilled nursing care, diagnostic radiology and neurology services, complete cardiology services, intensive care and rehabilitation. EORH is a level three-trauma center in the State of Ohio.

Surgical specialties include cardiovascular, orthopedic, neurology & optical surgeries, obstetrics & gynecology, urology, podiatry, advanced diagnostic capabilities, bone densitometry and plastic surgery.

EORH’s East Ohio Medical Complex, located in St. Clairsville, is an outpatient facility that includes physician offices, laboratory and radiology services. Doctors Urgent Care, also located in St. Clairsville Ohio, provides fast treatment for non-life threatening injuries such as minor burns, cuts, sprains and strains.

Unique to EORH is the Respiratory & Occupational Lung Disease Clinic, which provides outreach services to help eligible patients obtain diagnostic testing, evaluation & pulmonary rehab services by means of a Federal Black Lung Grant administered through the auspices of the Ohio Department of Health.

The BirthPlace at EORH is a family centered, level I provider of maternal/neonatal health services that assures comprehensive, high quality and cost effective care. EORH’s Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation Therapy specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems & assists individuals in regaining their optimal level of functionality.
