Doctors Hospital Nelsonville is supported by a staff of more than 50 physicians and 250 allied health professionals and associates. The hospital offers 15 acute care beds and 10 sub-acute care beds. The hospital’s 24 hour a day emergency department is staffed by a physician at all times and has helicopter transport available. Doctors Hospital Nelsonville offers a wide range of rehabilitative services and houses an on-site specialty medicine clinic, an on-site dialysis clinic, a 7-bed Intensive/Coronary Care Unit, and inpatient, outpatient and emergency surgical services.

The Hospital is also the home of Pine Hills Continuing Care Center, Athens County’s only hospital based long-term care facility. Pine Hills offers skilled and intermediate care, extensive activities and social service programs and community outreach and networking programs.
