OHA - The Ohio Hospital Association

Do you support your local hospital?
If so, are you willing to take that support to the next level and become a hospital advocate?

The health care industry has been and will continue to be the focus of intense public policy debate, and more and more of the decisions that impact hospital operations are being made by state and federal lawmakers. If you would like to join hospital employees, volunteers and other supporters from around the state who advocate in support of the hospital industry, join the OHA Advocacy Network today. The OHA Advocacy Network is a service of the Ohio Hospital Association, and is designed to assist hospital supporters in sending unified industry messages to elected officials.

As a member of the Advocacy Network, you will receive an e-mail newsletter, approximately every two weeks during legislative session, containing the latest of government action impacting Ohio hospitals. You will have access to:

Communication Handbook, which contains tips to help you communicate effectively with your hospital's elected officials;

Grassroots Handbook, which contains tips to help you build and maintain strong relationship with your hospital's elected officials.

OHA Legislative Directory, which lists pertinent information for state and federal lawmakers and other elected officials.

On occasion you may be asked by your hospital's Grasstops Leader to contact your hospital’s lawmaker on important issues through letters or phone calls. All Advocacy Network activity is strictly voluntary.

Please join the thousands of hospitals supporters from around the state and become an OHA Advocate. To join, fill in the information below and submit it to OHA.
