2007 Themes

On June 18-19, 2007, the Ohio Hospital Association will hold its 92nd Annual Meeting. At this event, almost every Ohio hospital is represented. More than 1,300 prominent health care decision makers for hospitals, health systems and state government will participate. The Annual Meeting is the premier gathering of Ohio’s hospital leaders. Seventy or more hospital and health system CEOs will be on hand for this event. In addition, more than 300 senior executives, medical staff leaders and board members are in attendance. The remaining 800 representatives are hospital directors, managers and caregivers from clinical and support areas.

You can help build on the reputation of this high-quality, affordable and convenient event by submitting a proposal to conduct an education seminar in 2007.  By presenting a session at the 2007 OHA Annual Meeting, you will contribute your unique expertise to help participants from Ohio's health service community support their efforts towards each hospital's mission.

Because leading practitioners like you volunteer their time for this event, it remains one of the most accessible and attainable professional development opportunities to acquire timely, relevant and highly credible information.

Selected presenters will gain invaluable exposure to hospital decision makers throughout Ohio providing both immediate and long-term benefits such as:

  • The ability to demonstrate leadership in your area of expertise,

An OHA selection committee will review submissions. Criteria for selection include:

  • Relation to hospital educational needs
  • Reflection of OHA’s Strategic Vision
  • Timeliness of content
  • Clarity of proposal
  • Credentials of speaker
  • Platform skills
  • Demonstrated command of subject
  • Congruence with proposal format
  • Completeness of submission
  • Conformance with deadlines
