Hospitals Elect New Members of OHA Board

COLUMBUS—Ohio hospitals have elected a new Chair and several new Trustees-At-Large to serve on the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) Board of Trustees.  Thomas Sieber, President and CEO of Genesis HealthCare System, Zanesville, is the new Chair.  This will be Sieber’s fifth year on the Board.  Last year he served as Secretary/Treasurer and in 1999 he served as a Trustee-At-Large.

The immediate past-chair is Jack Bartell, President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Luke’s Hospital, Maumee.  Bartell has been a member of the Board for nine years.

 

This year’s Chair-elect is Thomas Selden, President and CEO of Parma Community General Hospital, and Secretary/Treasurer is James Kingsbury, President and CEO of The Fort Hamilton Hospital, Hamilton.

Elected as Trustees-At-Large for three-year terms are the following:

  • Thomas Bralliar, MD, Cleveland Clinic Foundation

  • William Andrews, President, Licking Memorial Health Systems, Newark

  • Richard Frenchie, President and CEO, UHHS Geauga Regional Hospital and UHHS St. Michael Hospital, Chardon

  • Philip Hearing, President and CEO, Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge

  • Andrew McCulloch, CEO, Mercy Health Partners-Western Ohio Region, Springfield

  • Walter Wielkiewicz, MD, Zanesville

 

The Ohio Hospital Association was established in 1915 as the first state-level hospital association in the United States.
