The Ohio Hospital Association’s (OHA) Ohio Society of Healthcare Risk Managers (OSHRM) and Society of Ohio Healthcare Attorneys (SOHA) are teaming up to present the winter Litigation Conference on Fri., March 14, at the Blackwell in Columbus. The conference offers a robust agenda and provides a forum for networking, education and information exchange among Ohio’s health care risk managers and attorneys.
Industry experts and hospital representatives will present about a variety of topics including health care professional liability, Ohio tort reform, opioid abuse and more. An afternoon panel discussion will explore emerging issues for mid-level providers and potential impacts on litigation.
Registration is required to attend the event. The registration rate for OSHRM and SOHA members is $100 and the non-member rate is $175. The cost of registration includes lunch and handout materials. For additional information, or to register, click here.
Overnight accommodations are available at The Blackwell. A group rate of $135.00 is available until Mon., Feb. 17.
Interested in joining? To qualify as an OSHRM or SOHA active member, one must be an employee of an OHA member hospital or health care system; or an OHA corporate partner; or must be contractually aligned with health care providers within the health care delivery system as provided by the OHA “Bylaws for Personal Membership Groups.” To join OSHRM or SOHA complete the membership application and return to OHA.
